In addition, McDivitt Hall needs roof repairs to eliminate access by bats that are able to gain entry into the building along the South and East walls. The Koshare Kiva Building is a unique structure that includes a round room with a ceiling/roof constructed with wood logs strategically placed in a circular fashion without any support mechanisms except for the outside wall. This portion of the project includes: 1. Remove existing roof system down to wood decking 2. Plate fasten 1 layer of 3" iso insulation 3. Install second layer of insulation board/bringing r rating to R30 4. Fasten 1 layer of (1) hr fire rated dens deck 5. Replace all sheet metal and plumbing vent pipe jacks 6. Install 60mil white mule-hide TPO over entire roof area using Rhino bond mechanically fastened system. 7. Apply fully adhered 60 mil white TPO on all 3 ft high wall areas 8. Install counter flashing along parapet walls McBride Hall - Replace Entire Roof 1. Remove existing multi layered roof system and insulation boards down to concrete deck. 2. Install 1 layer of 3" insulation board at 328.6 sq 3. Install 1/8" taper system 4. Reroof using 60mil fully adhered white mule-hide TPO system on upper sections 5. Install metal cap flashing 6. Flash parapet walls using 60 mil TPO fully adhered 7. Flash curbs using 60 mil TPO fully adhered Wheeler Library/Learninq Commons - Replace Saw Tooth Section - Center Hall Areas 1. Remove existing multi layered roof system down to wood deck 2. Fasten 1 layer of (1) hr fire rated 3. Reroof using 60mil fully adhered white mule-hide TPO system 4. Install new metal edge detail on perimeter McDivitt Hall - Bat Prevention on South and East Walls 1. Spud back white quartz gravel down to smooth felt base on curbs on perimeter 2. Apply plastic cement and woven fiber membrane at all curbs and perimeter gravel stop metal fill pitch pans with rubberized filler - repair expansion wall
