Renovation of a medical facility in Pipestone, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This project includes renovations of an existing resident serving kitchen, dining room and living room at the main level of the Hospice House. Work under this contract includes: Interior Finishes o Insulated gypsum board/wood stud partitions o Floor finishes of carpet and luxury vinyl tile o Wall finishes of paint and ceramic tile. o Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, gypsum board and gypsum board soffits. o Plastic laminate casework, quartz, and solid surface. Mechanical Systems o Plumbing including, supply and waste piping systems, piping insulation, plumbing fixtures. Ventilation to include, ductwork, duct insulation, grilles, registers, diffusers, and test and balance. Electrical Systems o Electrical conduit and wiring o Interior lighting. o Fire alarm and voice/data Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Pipestone County Medical Center in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a written contract and to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Before commencing work, the successful bidder shall provide a certificate of insurance showing coverage for public Liability, property damage, and workers' compensation for at least the statutory minimum amounts and naming the Owner as an additional insured. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project three (3) months from the awarded bid. Schedule to be coordinated with the owner to avoid product delays prior to demolition. All materials/products will be required to be on- site prior to demolition. Final schedule to be confirmed with the selected contractor.
