The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority, 1000 Wilkes-Barre Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706, (Enter at WVSA Drive, stop at Guard House.) for the following project: PUMP STATION #7 UPGRADES PROJECT #18-21 Currently, PS-7 does not have a means to isolate flow from the drywell to the 36" force main or have the ability to by-pass the drywell pumps and direct flow directly to the 20" force main from the wet well. WVSA is conducting a series of three (3) projects to upgrade PS-7 by installing a 20" force main isolation and by-pass system in both the dry and wet wells, along with a 20" partial force main header replacement in the dry well and 14" discharge valves and piping replacement at both discharge pipe locations in the dry well. Contractor to site clear and turn over to WVSA all existing valves, plates, piping, gaskets and hardware for disposal and install all new valves, plates, piping, gaskets and hardware etc. per scope of work. All work to be performed in accordance with WVSA Project Drawings and Specifications. The project will include but not limited to the installation of valves, corresponding piping, new fabrications, gaskets, hardware, core drilling and minor concrete work. All labor, tools, equipment, concrete/grout procurement for the project shall be provided by the contractor. All new fabrications, valves, hardware, gaskets and piping shall be provided by WVSA. WVSA will also provide maintenance support, quality control and construction management. WVSA Electrical is responsible for all electrical construction if required. This project is subject to the provisions of the "Steel Products Procurement Act" of March 03, 1978.Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority. At the option of the Bidder, the Bid Bond may be a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond (at par value) or a Bid Bond on the form provided in the contract documents. Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, and to waive any informalities, defects or irregularities, or any part or parts thereof.
