Renovation of a multi-residential development in Federal Way, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
** This project has been awarded to Olympic Roofing, LLC in the amount of $572,000. ** Remove the existing roof system (upper roof, elevator penthouse, and lower roof), including all associated components down to the existing concrete roof decks, all-metal flashing at the roof edge, curbs, pipes, ducts, & similar penetrations. The coping & siding will need to be removed to complete the new roof assembly installation & then reinstalled. The existing overflow scuppers will be modified to incorporate the new roof insulation & slope. There is HVAC equipment & a gas line the Contractor will have to relocate as needed to complete the installation of the new roof assembly. An exterior roof ladder will be installed & include a poured in place 4'x3'x4'concrete pad. There are active T-Mobile cell towers, which will remain fully operational during construction. KCHA will work with the Contractor and Wren Construction (hired by T-Mobile) to coordinate the relocation of the towers and associated electrical for the roof demo and new assembly installation.
