Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 8/19/2022 4:00 PM The Work to be performed for the project includes supplying all labor, equipment, materials and site restoration as identified in the project Manual for the upgrade of the power and controls of nine (9) sewage pump stations. Each Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form provided by the Contract Documents, drawn to the order of the North Coventry Municipal Authority, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the extended Bid Amount, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The North Coventry Municipal Authority, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept the Bid, which is in the best interest of the Authority, consistent with the laws affecting municipal authority contract awards.
