The purpose of this ITB is to establish a contract for EOYCF FLAT RE-ROOF PROJECT for the benefit of Oregon Youth Authority. Location- 1800 West Monroe Burns, Oregon 97720 The following range is a Project estimate for bonding purposes: $500,000.00-700,000.00. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: 180 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. FINAL COMPLETION: 30 days after Substantial Completion *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This Project scope will consist of work at the Eastern Oregon Youth Correctional Facility located in Burns, Oregon. Work will be done at the flat roof areas facility wide to include areas of the Administration, Support services, and State Housing Units. The estimated square footage of roof system to be replaced is 16,500 sf +/-. The Metal roof portions of the facility are not part of this project. The existing Modified Bitumen roof system and existing thermal insulation shall be demolished and replaced with new Thermoplastic Polyethylene (TPO) Roof membrane, Polyisocyanurate Insulation, and associated underlayment. All work will be done and managed under a singular contract. 1. Demolition of existing built-up modified bitumen roofing, existing insulation, metal parapet caps and associated flashing as required for new TPO roofing membrane system. 2. Reconstruction and flashing of existing overflow scuppers. 3. Temporary relocation of existing roof mounted gas piping, condensate lines, and electrical conduits as required during construction. 4. All Roof top mechanical unit functionality shall be maintained during the duration of the project. 5. Roof curb re-flashing will be done in accordance to the drawings and WILL NOT require temporary removal and or lifting of roof top mechanical units to conduct the re-roofing work.
