Site work and paving for a civil project in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of August 4, 2022, project was awarded to Black Rock Enterprises, LLC, awarded amount is $878,680.25. Work to be performed under this contract is associated with replacing the existing drainage system with a new drainage system along approximately 1,300 LF of Amwell Road. Major work items to be performed under this contract shall include, but not limited to, replacing the existing system with new inlets, manholes, and piping along both sides of Amwell Road, local grading of slopes for new inlets, pavement repair associated with drainage installation, construction of new outfalls and riprap, and removal of existing guide rail. Milling, resurfacing, and striping is also to be conducted after the completion of the new drainage system. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract.
