All the materials and workmanship must comply with local building codes and specifications. Local Building Permit to be secured by Contractor. Project will be a design/build to include a steel portal frame to compensate for removal of existing cable X-bracing and creating two new garage door openings, supply and install 14'x14' R13 insulated doors with electric, remote openers on southeast side. Also, remove one existing 14'x14' overhead door and replace with a new R13 insulated door and electric remote opener to match on south side. Project shall include removal of existing steel sheeting from southeast side, creating a suitable opening without compromising the strength of the building, any rerouting of electrical circuits, wiring to provide power for garage door openers, installation of suitable trim to provide a finished appearance from the outside as well as the inside of the building. The project will include the installation of used siding (removed from new openings on southeast side) and framing required to form an exterior wall over an existing 14' x14' door on westside. R13 insulation to be required between the newly installed sheeting and the existing garage door. Proposed Bid amount must remain firm for 90 days from bid opening date. The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept whichever proposal that may be in the best interest of the Airport Authority, at its sole discretion.. The Hall County Airport Authority is a tax-exempt entity and requires Certificate of Liability Insurance on file prior to job start date.
