On-Call Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Maintenance and Repair Services Bidders shall perform uninterrupted power supply (UPS) services as set forth in this solicitation which may include without limitation: scheduled maintenance, upgrades and repairs to County UPS systems. Contractor shall be familiar with emergency power systems, and all associated emergency equipment. Contractor shall provide all technical and professional services, including labor, equipment, test equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide the Services as directed and determined by County staff. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required Engineer's Estimated Cost: $0 to $600,000 Bidders shall perform uninterrupted power supply (UPS) services as set forth in this solicitation which may include without limitation: scheduled maintenance, upgrades and repairs to County UPS systems. Contractor shall be familiar with emergency power systems, and all associated emergency equipment. Contractor shall provide all technical and professional services, including labor, equipment, test equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide the Services as directed and determined by County staff. Technical questions regarding the contract documents should be submitted through Electronically. All questions must be received no later than Monday, June 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The estimated amount of this contract is: The Contra Costa County Public Works Department (PWD) intends to award at least one (1), but not more than two (2) contracts, total of contracts not to exceed $600,000 to the responsible bidder(s). Each contract will have a term of three (3) years with the option of two (2) one-year extensions, and will be used as needed with no minimum amount that has to be spent. The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors encourages opportunities to develop and support Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), Local Business Enterprises (LBEs), and Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBEs) by providing opportunities for participation in the performance of construction contracts financed in whole or in part with County funds. MBE, WBE, SBE, LBE, and DVBE definitions and detailed information are included in Division E of the Specifications. The said Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any portion of any bid and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
