Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Whispering Pines, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of July 7, 2022, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** The Project consists of construction of the first phase of the Whispering Pines Park. Included in the scope is the construction of new parking lots, associated drive aisles, and turn down sidewalk. Interior to the parking lots will be two bioretention ponds that ultimately drain to a wet pond that will serve as a park amenity. Park trails are included in the scope along with water and stormwater utilities, grading and erosion control measures, and fencing. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
