Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Watrous, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,171-square-foot, two-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) seeks Bids from qualified contractors to perform the following work: - Site works and construction of New EMS Facility to be located within the Town of Watrous, Saskatchewan as described in the Contract Documents provided herein. - The new facility is not required nor designed to function as a post-disaster relief facility. SHA requires substantial performance of the work set out in the Contract Documents on or before close of business on FRIDAY, 24 FEBRUARY 2023, notwithstanding completion of seasonal deficiencies. Allowable seasonal deficiencies for carry-over until spring 2022 shall be limited to: - Asphalt top surface only; sub-base and base to be completed for interim use by facility at the time of substantial completion - Landscaping plantings, earthwork and grass seed. Allowable seasonal deficiencies must be substantial completion on or before MONDAY, 30 May 2022, weather permitting. Bid Security: Each Bidder shall include with its Bid the following Bid security: (a) a properly executed bid bond in form CCDC - 220 in favour of SHA for 10% of the Bid Price. Bid bonds should be issued by a bonding company licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan to conduct the business of a surety, or (b) a signed, certified cheque in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price naming SHA as payee. If no contract is awarded, all Bid security will be returned. Contract Security: Each Bidder shall include with its Bid a consent of surety, stating that the surety providing the bid bond is willing to supply a 50% performance bond and a 50% labour and materials payment bond, as specified in the Contract Documents. Payment for performance and labour and materials payment bonds shall be included in the Bid price.
