Location of Work Various locations-Dobbins, Hallwood and Marysville Yuba County Water Agency (YCWA or "Agency") hereby requests proposals from qualified vendors to provide preventative maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment at various Yuba Water Agency facilities. All Bidders must include adequate information to demonstrate that they have the necessary experience, professional qualifications, and licensing to complete the work. The proposals submitted in response to this RFP will be used as a basis for selecting the contractor for this project. The firm's proposal will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in the "Evaluation Criteria" section of this RFP. Yuba Water Agency will accept proposals from qualified California licensed vendors to perform preventative HVAC maintenance services, including emergency work and repairs. The agreement period will be for three (3) years with the possibility of a two (2) year extension. Deadline for Questions............................................................... All questions must be received by June 13, 2022, by 2:00pm local time. Email purchasing@yubawater.org with the subject line HVAC. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any addendum's that may have been issued by either contacting the Agency by phone, email or checking website. The successful Bidder shall furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the type, form and amount specified in the forms included with the Contract Documents. These bonds shall be furnished on such forms or on substantially similar forms acceptable to the Agency. The Payment Bond shall comply with California Civil Code sections 9550 and 9554 and applicable provisions of the California Bond and Undertaking Law (California Code of Civil Procedure section 995.010 et seq.). The bonds shall be obtained from a responsible corporate surety (or sureties) acceptable to the Agency, who is (or are) in good standing with and duly admitted by the Insurance Commissioner of the State of California to act as surety upon bonds and undertakings. The surety (or sureties) shall furnish reports as to its financial condition from time to time as requested by the Agency. The premiums for the bonds shall be paid by the successful Bidder.
