The Yuba County Water Agency will be requesting bids from pre-qualified contractors for the Project. The Project location extends from New Bullards Bar Dam to the Colgate Powerhouse located in Dobbins, CA. Further, it is the Agency's intent to prequalify prime contractors, joint ventures, and/or combinations of prime and subcontractors having the demonstrated and direct experience in completing water tunnel rehabilitation work and the demonstrated experience to complete both the penstock and large-diameter valve work and the penstock coating work. The Agency recognizes that a complete construction team will likely require additional subcontractors and vendors and that the successfully prequalified prime contractor can add these resources after the release of the Invitation for Bid and before the Bid Close.
