Paint and Supplies for Pahoa Police Furnish and deliver various paints & supplies to the department of public works, building division, county of hawaii Questions should be submitted through public electronically. Award will be as a lot. If applicable, a purchase order will be faxed or emailed to the winning vendor. Vendor's compliance shall be mandatory for all awards $2,500 or greater in accordance with the requirements of hawaii revised statutes 103d-310(c). See rfq form 1, exhibit a, no. 13, for additional information. Vendors should subscribe to hawaii compliance express (hce) upon deciding they are interested in competing for county awards for goods or services. It is recommended vendors register in hce as soon as possible and prior to responding to a solicitation. Please note that it may take two or more weeks to establish a vendor account in hce. If a vendor is not registered or not compliant in hce upon notification or intent to award, another vendor will be awarded. Note: vendors may submit a bid in accordance with an active state of hawaii price and vendor list contract, and if an award is made, the terms and conditions contained in the applicable price and vendor list contract will replace the terms and conditions contained herein. Vendors must indicate the applicable price and vendor list contract number. All quotations must be f.O.B. Destination, freight prepaid and allowed, and inclusive of all applicable taxes, including hawai`I general excise tax and use taxes. The county of hawai`I is exempt from federal taxes. Effective january 1, 2020 - december 31, 2030, the maximum general excise tax rate and surcharge that may be charged to the county of hawaii will be 4.7120%.
