It is the intent of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Medicine (UNMC/NM) to place the item(s) specified on a contract effective July 1, 2022 to expire June 30, 2023 subject to the availability of funds. The quantities if given are an estimate based on annual usage and may vary according to use. A contract will be issued. Upon completion of this contract UNMC/NM and the successful bidder may renegotiate for contract renewal for two (2) additional periods of twelve (12) months each subject to the availability of funds. UNMC/NM reserves the right in its sole discretion, to enter into a separate agreement with any other contractor to provide a similar service to UNMC/NM at any time during this agreement. SCOPE OF WORK: The awarded contractor must provide professional customer-oriented snow/ice removal services in all stated areas/property and is expected to provide equipment, materials and labor to remove snow/ice in performance of this agreement. Snow/ice removal can be achieved by manual shoveling, snowplow, snow blower or chemical methods. Snow/ice removal is expected to be performed when it occurs during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The properties are split into four (4) zones. Each zone below acts as its own contract. Contractor has the option to bid on any or all zones.
