Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Lloyd Harbor, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law at sea- the Incorporated Village of Lloyd Harbor invites the submission of sealed bids for: Cm tract No. 1 - General Construction Additions & Alterations to Village r Hall Inc. Village of Lloyd Harbor I or the construction of 1" floor additions & alterations as follows: Clerks office, Building Inspectors office, and relocation and modifications to existing men's & woman's bathrooms. Each bidder must deposit with its a certified check of not less than five per centum (5%) of the base bid, or a bid bond with a Bonding Company licensed to do business in the State of Ne v York in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Bidders will also complete a non-collusion statement. The deposit will be considered a guarantee t hi t the bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the necessary bonds e in I insurance for the work if awarded ' t o he contractor. The deposit will be forfeited to the Incorporated Village of lloyd Harbor, as liquidated damages, if fails to enter into a contract within the time specified. The Owner reserves the right in its sol : discretion to reject any and/or accept an or all bids. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements involving conditions of employment winch must be observed and prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. The contractor will be required to comply with all provisions of the Labor Law of the State of New York. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish liability insurance, property insurance and Worker's Compensation insurance with the Village The Owner reserves its rights, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all bids, or to reject any non-complying bid or unqualified bidder. The Owner reserves the right to award the bid to either: a) the lowest base price which is bid; or b) to the lowest price of the base bid and any or all alternates which may be selected by the Owners.
