A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is in excess of $50,000.00. State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. This project includes the remodel of the Shiloh Pavilion. The Work also includes the furnishing and installation of all other components as indicated on the construction documents. A. The work under this contract will be awarded under a stipulated sum contract to the lowest responsive and responsible base bid amount. No segregated bids, alternative bids, or assignments will be considered. B. Perform Work of the Contract under a stipulated sum contract with the Owner in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. C. Conditions of the contract shall be in accordance with the requirements specified on the construction documents and in the project manual. D.
