Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Clarendon, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
City of Clarendon is anticipating receiving funding from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to make an addition to and renovations of the existing fire station building for the Clarendon VFD. City of Clarendon is interested in acquiring the services of an architectural firm for the above referenced project to provide both preliminary plans, specs, drawings, and cost estimate, as well as post approval construction services, all contingent upon grant award. Procedures for selection of a firm or individual will be in accordance with state procurement requirements. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence; performance; capacity and capability of the firm to perform work; and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. All RFQ's will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the Mayor of Clarendon. Negotiations will begin with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process after approval is granted from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
