PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish labor, supervision and equipment, and all other incidentals perform vegetation removal work along various routes in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. QUESTIONS Any questions regarding this Quick Quote shall be addressed to Nasir Chhipa at nasir.chhipa@vdot.virginia.gov The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, traffic control, and incidentals required for the successful completion of the services described herein. This work will include cutting to ground level and removing the following invasive trees as directed: Ailanthus - up to 12 inch DBH Mimosa - no size limit/all sizes Bradford pear - no size limit/all sizes PERIOD OF CONTRACT: Contract period will be from the date of award through September 30th 2022.
