Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work generally consists of supplying all materials, labour and equipment necessary for the resurfacing of Trunk Road from South Market to Black Road including installing embedded Concrete-Rubber grade crossing system at the Black Road rail crossing. Tenders must be accompanied with a tender deposit in the form of a certified cheque, money order, bid bond or bank draft in the amount of 10% of the Tender Price payable to the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie. The tender deposit and Agreement to Bond shall be delivered to the City in an envelope marked to the City Clerk prior to closing. Complete tender submissions shall be scanned and emailed to the email address listed above. If submission is larger than 10MB, send in multiple emails marked as 1 of #; 2 of #; etc. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the contract Tenders are subject to a formal contract being prepared and executed. The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
