Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Eau Claire, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of June 28, 2022 the project is on hold. Work will include pulverizing 3 1/2" of existing pavement to a depth of 9" (millings will be mixed in with existing gravel base) of the existing lot on the West side of the Student Activity Center. Scope of the Work Includes: 1. Pulverizie 3 1/2" of existing pavement to a depth of 9". See section 4, item 4.1. 2. Grade and Compact 3. Replace unsuitable soil. Proof roll to determine the extent once existing pavement has been removed. 4. Pavement to be placed in layers. a. Base course to be 2" of base asphalt b. Top course to be 1.5" thick each. 5. Tack coat to be placed on base course prior to placement of top course. 6. Layout and stripe lot 7. Striping of the lot to meet required codes. 8. Paint 4" parking stripes, arrow, and no parkings in YELLOW 9. Marking of handicap spaces in BLUE 10. Include an appropriate number of handicap parking spots. 11. Install five 6 foot bumper blocks 12. Repair any lawn, sidewalk, or other items damaged during the course of construction Eau Claire Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive omissions, irregularities, or clerical errors not affecting the compliance with the plans and specifications. Prices quoted are to be F.O. B. (Eau Claire, Michigan). A ll purchases are to be exempt from all taxes, including state and federal taxes. Exemption certificates will be furnished upon request.
