Cities: Colonial Heights, HopeWell, Petersburg, and City of Richmond. Counties: Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, King William, New Kent, Powhatan, and Prince George. The Contractor shall pick up litter on both sides of the road for approximately 42.2 miles of roadway throughout Hanover County. The Contractor shall pick up litter on both sides of the road and the median for approximately 12 miles of roadway throughout Hanover County. Specific routes are not defined at this time and could include any County road. It does not include interstates. Pick up all litter within 15 feet of the road or the farthest side of a drainage ditch, whichever is greater. For purposes of this agreement, litter would include clothing items, small car parts and small retail size containers of household hazardous waste. Litter does not include dead animals, tree logs, vegetation debris, yard waste, appliances or large piles of construction debris. The County also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the County to be in its best interest The Contractor must be able to begin immediately upon award and have work completed by June 24, 2022
