BRIEF DESCRIPTION The Grandes-Seigneuries School Services Center is looking for a company specializing in the engineering and installation of outdoor fiber optic networks to carry out the construction of two (2) new sections of fiber optic networks to connect the administrative center of the STI (located at 1325 rue Industrielle in La Prairie) and connect the Center Jacques-De-Lignery (JDL) in redundancy (located at 1250 boulevard Taschereau in La Prairie). The JDL Center will have to be connected by a new fiber optic cable in complete diversity of the main fiber optic cable already existing in this building. The network extension is estimated at a distance of approximately 1800 meters for the two sections. The CSSDGS would like to receive "turnkey" tenders for the engineering and construction of the two new fiber optic network sections. WORK SCHEDULE The engineering portion must be completed before October 1 , 2022, unless otherwise advised by the CSSDGS. The construction portion must ideally be completed before December 1 , 2022 (before the winter season), unless otherwise advised by the CSSDGS. OPTIONS The Contract does not include a renewal option. VISITING PLACES No site visit is planned. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The BIDDER must accompany his Bid with a bid guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the price proposed in his Bid. This bid security must be produced in the form of a bond issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.13 hereof, which must comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Annex 4.01A of the Bid Form. SUBSTITUTION OR EQUIVALENCE The tenderer must submit to the PUBLIC BODY any proposal for substitution or equivalence of materials or equipment no later than June 15, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in accordance with the procedure provided for in the tender documents.
