For the 2022 Road Program project the Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. After the pre-bid meeting these will be in the form of a written notice to all bidders. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to West Mahanoy Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract amount within 20 days of the award of the contract. PA Prevailing Wages will apply to the "2022 Road Program" Bid Proposal. All bids will be opened and read publicly at 12:00 noon on Monday June 20, 2022 at the Township Office and pending review presented to the West Mahanoy Township Board of Supervisors for action on June 21, 2022 at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The West Mahanoy Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
