Sugar Notch Borough is soliciting bids for the collection, removal and disposal of combined refuse for a one year, three year, or five year term beginning on January 1, 2023; and for the collection, removal and disposal of combined refuse and commingled recyclables for a one, three, or five year term beginning on January 1, 2023. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, or a certified or cashier's check payable to Sugar Notch Borough in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the first twelve months of the bid amount must accompany the Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to give the Borough a performance bond with an approved surety company in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of each twelve months of the contract. Sugar Notch Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding procedures. The Borough of Sugar Notch does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability or familial status in employment or the provisions of service.
