Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in St Charles, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 20, 2022, project was awarded to H & H Electric Company, awarded amount is $627,604.56. Replacing existing traffic signal equipment with new equipment, modernizing the intersections, Curb & Gutter removal and replacement, updating ADA ramps, Pavement Markings, Signage & Restoration. Accompanying this proposal is either a 5% Bid Bond or a proposal guaranty check, complying with the specifications, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Aurora. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids and to waive any and all irregularities and technicalities. The City of Aurora shall either award the project or reject the bids within Sixty (60) calendar days after the bid opening. This time frame may be extended upon mutual agreement of the City and the Bidder. Modernizing traffic signals, at the intersections of Illinois Avenue at Randall Road and Elmwood Drive, removal and replacement of ADA ramps, curb & gutter and other miscellaneous appurtenances all in accordance with the plans and specifications.
