Renovation of a detention facility in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
HVAC Facility Improvements Work consists of RTU upgrade/replacements/conversions, ductwork replacement and modifications, energy recovery unit installation, building automation systems, heating system upgrades, new roof system installation, and electrical modifications. Contractor shall provide design documents by licensed engineer in the state of Illinois. Questions prior to bid opening shall be submitted electronically to cbasham@klingner.com. Include in the Subject Line: Knox County Law Enforcement Center - HVAC Facility Improvements - Question Submittal. No question shall be taken over the phone. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Knox County, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations is required. The Knox County Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received. Bids may be held by the Knox County Board for a period not to exceed fortyfive (45) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
