President and Board of Trustees of the Village of River Grove, Illinois that bid proposals will be received for the following projects: 2022 Sewer Cleaning and Televising Program The services to be completed as part of this project are located throughout the Village of River Grove. The scope of work includes sewer cleaning, television inspection, removal of waste and other necessary work to properly complete this project in accordance with the specifications and bidding documents. All work for this project must be completed by August 1, 2022. The contractor shall be paid in cash for the work to be performed on this project. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond or a cashiers check or certified check, made payable to the Village of River Grove in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract properly secured. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of River Grove for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Contractor and Subcontractors shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of River Grove reserves the rights to determine the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, to waive technicalities and to reject any and all bids.
