The scope of work includes earth excavation, pavement removal, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, garage apron, sidewalks, PCC roadway and alley pavement installation, aggregate base course for stormwater runoff storage installation, permeable brick pavers, landscape restoration, and other related work. All bidders wishing to obtain bidding documents must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining bidding documents. All bidders must provide proof that they are prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation to perform at least 50% of the value of the work before being issued bidding documents. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of River Grove for a period forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of River Grove reserves the right in receiving these bids to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids.
