If you are submitting a 5% certified check in lieu of the bid bond, include a completed and signed copy of your firm's current W-9 Form with your sealed bid. In case the bidder fails to file such contract, the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited and become the property of Washington County. Failure to submit the required bid security as part of the firm's sealed bid will result in immediate rejection of the firm's bid. The project is expected to be awarded July 5, 2022 and shall be substantially completed by October 14, 2022 and shall be fully completed by October 28, 2022. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages.
