Site work and new construction of a parking garage in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a five-story above grade, 503-space parking garage.

Joeris General Contractors has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk for The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio - Brain Health Parking Garage. We are requesting a proposal For the Structural PreCast Concrete portion of this project based off the schematic design documents. As noted in this RFP we are looking to sign up a Structural Precast Trade Partner. This Trade Partner will work with us within the parameters set out to provide the most efficient layout for the garage, through the completion of the contract document. As well as fabricate and erect the precast for this garage. The new parking facility is planned to accommodate staff parking for the planned Brain Health Building, The Barshop Institute, and The Medical Arts and Research Center (MARC). This new parking facility is planned to be completed in two phases. The first phase allows for a two bay, five-level structure that will accommodate ~ 503 parking spaces. The second phase, which will be a future expansion, will also be five levels and will accommodate an additional 500 parking spaces for an ultimate build out of ~1,000 parking spaces. We will only be building Phase One The planned garage will be located on the Barshop Institute site. The garage will be set back off Charles Katz Street to allow area for a planned Research Building (Research 1). Access to the garage is planned from Charles Katz and Floyd Curl streets. The access from Floyd Curl Street will be right-in/right-out. Please refer to attached design drawing files for Phase 1 and Phase 2 garage layout. The goal of the design is to provide an economic, efficient, user-friendly facility.
