Renovation of a municipal facility in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project will be bid as a single prime contract. The project consists of the following: selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, concrete masonry units, rough carpentry, structural steel, metal stud framing, insulation, hollow metal doors, door hardware, resinous flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical and etc. Telephone inquiries regarding the Invitation to Bids may be made to the Project Engineer, Lance Kegerreis at (717) 263-8794 or via email at lance@debei.com. Bids may be held by the Borough for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Awards shall be made only to responsible bidders that possess the potential ability to perform successfully under the terms and conditions of this procurement. Consideration shall be given to such matters as bidder integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance and financial and technical resources when determining responsibility.
