As of February 23, 2026, this project is on hold pending funding. A bidding timeline has not been disclosed. While a firm construction timeline has not yet been established, construction is not expected to begin prior to fourth quarter 2026. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project is for the partial interior renovation of Kunsela and Donovan Halls to update and expand instructional, laboratory and support spaces for growing STEM programs at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. The renovation includes architectural finishes and MEP and fire protection system upgrades. Kunsela Hall is a three-story building constructed in 1985 and comprises 147,848 GSF. The concrete and masonry building is organized into three wings, A, B, and C. This project will modernize several areas of C wing on all three stories. Donovan Hall is a three-story building constructed in 1988 and comprises 137,984 GSF. Donovan Hall was designed to be the primary academic building on campus. This project will renovate approximately half of the first floor and several areas on the ground and second floors.
