The City is seeking Proposals from qualified Offerors to award contract in two phases to install a roof mounted, grid connected Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system at the City's Activity Center, located at 506 S. Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877. All questions regarding this Solicitation: (i) shall be submitted in writing by email to the Procurement Division, at procurement@gaithersburgmd.gov; and (ii) shall be received by the date and time specified in the Solicitation Schedule. The solicitation number and title must be included in the subject line of the email. Any and all questions received not in compliance with this paragraph will not be answered unless the City, at its sole discretion, deems that a response to a question is necessary to clarify anything in the Solicitation Documents. The City's responses to questions received will be issued via Addendum to this solicitation on the date specified in the Solicitation Schedule. Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877. A. Phase-I - Assessment (feasibility study) including roof structure assessment. B. Phase-II - Total "turnkey" design, installation and maintenance services. C. The selected Offeror will be awarded separate contracts for each Phase and Phase-I will be a multi-year contract for future PV systems feasibility studies on an as needed basis. Based on assessment reports and availability of funds City may plan future PV systems installation projects.
