Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project work consists of: the renovation of the accessible pathway leading from the Mountain Lake Playground to the lakeshore below. The existing concrete pathway has failed due to erosion and is no longer usable. This project will replace the existing pathway with a raised wooden boardwalk. The boardwalk will be ADA accessible and have a maximum slope of less than 5%. The boardwalk will be supported on helical metal piles. The walkway will also be stabilized with rip-rap in order to ensure the integrity of the structure.
