Site work and paving for a road / highway in Norrie, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Norrie is seeking bids for grinding present asphalt, paving, and shouldering on Hilly Acres Road, beginning at Highway 29 and going west for a distance/width of 6,547' x 26' (20' paved travel width for both lanes with 1' paved shoulders and 2' unpaved shoulders). Work to include: Bid 1 - Pulverize present asphalt, fine grading, water, shape, and compact the base course material. Bid 2 - Pave 22' width with WisDOT Spec. Type MT 58-28S asphalt mix compacted to an average thickness of 3 inches in two lifts (2,835 tons). Apply tack coat prior to paving the surface course. Bid 3 - Furnish and install WisDOT Spec. 1 1/4 " dense-graded base course material to widen the road for 2,300' (350 tons). Furnish and install WisDOT Spec. 3/4" dense-graded base course material for 2' unpaved shoulders (610 tons.) All work and materials to meet Wisconsin DOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction, 2022 Edition Project to be completed by September 30, 2022.
