Scope of Work: Pickleball Courts (3) Installation at the Community Center A. Contractor will conduct site survey and provide drawing depicting proper grades to ensure proper slope tolerance. B. Total play area for the three pickleball courts to be 64'x96'. C. Compact RC6 with vibrating roller to achieve maximum density. D. Furnish and install new asphalt to the compacted play area. Utilize a self-propelled asphalt paver to apply 19 mm hot mix base course in one single lift. Compact 19 mm base course with a roller to achieve an average maximum compact depth of 2". E. Apply liquid asphalt tack coat to the base course at the Asphalt Institute recommended rate of 0.020-0.045 gallons per square yard. F. Using a self-propelled asphalt paver, apply 9.5 mm hot mix surface course asphalt in one lift. Compact 9.5 mm surface course with a roller to achieve an average compacted depth of 2". G. Backfill and grade site surrounding the playing area with suitable fill and finish with topsoil. Seed and straw. (an addendum line item for installing sod is requested). H. Contractor to furnish and install (6) 24"x24"x30" Sakrete, ready mix concrete footers with 24" PVC ground sleeve.
