The contractor will be required to install an inner security fence by replacing with an updated 7 foot chain link security fence. The new fence will be 6' chain link fence and 3 strands of barb wire supported by outriggers for a total fence height of about 7' in accordance with the statement of work. This will be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside in accordance with FAR 19.203(c). In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) Magnitude of Construction Projects, the price range of this project is anticipated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. A Site Visit will be conducted on 30 June, 2022 at 10:00 AM (CST) Barksdale AFB, LA 71110. Participants will meet in the parking lot identified in the statement of work (page 2) and Attachment 6 directions, Section L, and provision 52.236-27 for additional details regarding the site visit. In order to obtain access to Barksdale AFB for the site visit please arrive 30 minutes prior at the visitors center (if in POV) and at the east gate (company truck/car with logos) to receive a visitors pass The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation necessary to accomplish the Installation of Security Fence from the Industrial Gate to the Air Park in accordance with Statement of work dated 7 June 2022 attached herein as attachments 1.
