This is a pre-solicitation notice. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently for this effort. No will be made under this solicitation until funds are . The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The 2d Contracting Squadron at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City LA will be soliciting for an Airfield Paving Quantity (IDIQ) contract. During the contract period, Base Civil Engineers will identify construction tasks and the Contracting Officer will negotiate and issue task orders. The required work to be expected under this contract are asphalt milling and overlays, runway rubber removal, airfield slab replacements, airfield markings, airfield joint sealing, airfield spall repair, and other related airfield pavement work. The IDIQ will have a minimum of $2,000.00 and Not-to-Exceed of $25,000,000.00 over a five (5) year period, one (1) year base plus four (4) one (1) year options. The applicable NAICS Code for this acquisition is 237310 and the Size Standard is $39,500,000.00. Requirement/Concerns: This contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price / Quantity (IDIQ) type for construction efforts. The period of will be one (1) base-year followed by four (4) one-year option periods. The requirement is a competitive 100% total small business -. In order to be eligible for a contract , offerors must be registered in System for Management (SAM). Registration can be accomplished via the SAM website at https://sam.gov. A site visit will be held for this project. This information will be in Block 10 of the RFP. The RFP will be posted on or around 4 January 2023, the RFP will close 44 calendar after the RFP is released. The successful contractor will be selected using Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best to the Government. Recent and Relevant Past will be based on previous Airfield work.
