Renovation of a military facility in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The four existing West Gate Vista Switch control systems are not functioning properly. This prevents the electric shop from being able to log in and access the trip system settings for readings in order to trouble shoot outage problems. The lack of control causes the switch to open instead of automatically switching to back feed from AEP/SWEPCO. All work must be done / phased such that power outages are minimized as much as possible. The contractor will accomplish the following requirements: Remove the four existing pad mounted vista switches, to be turned over to the electric shop. Repair 600-amp Elbow on B-Phase Incoming feed from AEP/SWEPCO on North West Vista Switch, per CEMIRT Infrared Inspection conducted 17-20 July 2017. Feeder 6 & 9.
