The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms licensed by the Virginia Board of Contractors as a Class A Contractor to provide pressure grouting services on Route 460 (W. Lynchburg Salem Turnpike) Bedford County, GPS Location: 37.35145 - 79.64389 per the specifications contained in this solicitation. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The Contractor shall begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days of notification that the Pipe Rehabilitation work on Rt. 460, at this same location, is scheduled for completion and the work contained herein may begin. Work shall be limited to a five (5) business days duration once work is mobilized, unless otherwise approved in writing by the Contract Administrator. The Contractor shall provide a continuous operation once they commence work. The Contractor shall advise the VDOT Contract Administrator of the start date within three (3) days of receiving notice to proceed. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Patty Harvey at Patty.Harvey@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than close of business five (5) days prior to bid closing date.
