Glynn County Schools is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to furnish, install, terminate, and test a structure cabling solution supporting voice, data and CCTV for the new 2 story classroom building at St. Simons Elementary School. The vendor will be responsible for all the necessary permits, labor permits, cabling, hardware, and miscellaneous supplies. The Glynn County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept other than the low proposal when the interest of the school system can be better served. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or reject, any or all proposals or any part of a proposal. In the event of equal proposals, preference will be given to the local Proposer. Deadline to Submit Questions June 15, 2022 (12:00 Noon, ET) Bid Bond (Bond only; certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) shall be required for all competitive sealed bids for construction contracts estimated to be $100,000 or more. The Bid Bond must be in an amount equal to 5% of the Base Bid payable to The Glynn County School System and issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Georgia, in order to guarantee that the Proposer/Bidder will enter into a contract for products and/or related services outlined in this RFP, strictly within the terms and conditions stated in this RFP and in the contract documents, should the contract be awarded to the Proposer. The successful Awarded Proposer may be required to furnish a bond to The Glynn County School System for the faithful performance on the contract and to secure payment of all claims for materials furnished and/or labor performed in performance of the project, in the amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Bond shall be issued by a Corporate Surety authorized to do business with the State of Georgia. Show the cost to supply such bond on the Cost Proposal Form where indicated. Do not include the costs in your Base Bid.
