Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Price, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The purpose of this RFQ is to enter into a purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest cost to provide: install the wooden posts for beaver dam analogs along a one mile stretch of the creek. This will just be the upright posts and not the weaving in between them. The completion of the BDAs will take place later. We will be putting in the posts for around 100 BDAs for this project. Posts and equipment to install are provided. See Attachment B Scope of Work for more information. Work must be completed no later than June 29, 2022. Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, the State will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids. Vendors must review each section of this RFQ carefully before submitting a quote. Question Submission Close Date 6/10/2022 2:00 PM MDT Lower Miller Creek is located about 6 miles south of Price Utah. Access the site by driving southbound on Highway 10 from Price, Utah. Turn east onto Ridge Road, and then south onto Upper Miller Creek Rd. Continue until you pass 5700 S. by about one block and turn east on a dirt road. Stay on the road next to the creek until you get to an open area to park. The elevation of Miller Creek ranges from 7,300 at the confluence with North Fork to 9,700 feet at the top of the watershed on Gentry Mountain. The lower sections of Miller Creek support pinyon/juniper woodlands while the upper reaches transition to sub alpine fir, douglas fir, engelmann spruce, and aspen. In the summer of 2012 the Seeley fire burned on the Manti La Sal National Forest, part of it burning the upper end of the Miller Creek Watershed. Most of the conifer trees that burned in the Middle Fork of Miller Creek were subalpine and douglas fir.
