Renovation of a water / sewer project in Verona, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
For the expansion of the valve chamber, replacement of the magmeter, and the addition of a storm sewer at the Nadine Pump Station. Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished in the Bid Submittal Document. The Authority intends on awarding a contract to the lowest bidder. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, made payable to Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. (1) A bond for ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the bid, or (2) A certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidders must be completed and submitted with all bids. All bids must be identified by marking sealed envelope - Contract No. 22-012: Meter Vault Expansion - Nadine Pump Station. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any, or all, bids and to waive any informalities within the bids received.
