Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) intends to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to obtain statements of qualifications (SOQ) from design-build firms and design-build teams by June 30, 2022 as the first step of a two-step procurement process for design-build services at the first two developments to be renovated as part of NYCHAs Comprehensive Modernization program: Saint Nicholas Houses (Manhattan) and Todt Hill Houses (Staten Island) (each, a Project). The purpose of the Comprehensive Modernization program is to rehabilitate and improve NYCHAs building performance and campuses for the long term, preserving public housing for current and future residents. enhancing the quality of residents lives and improving living conditions (through holistic capital improvements). SOQs received for each Project will be evaluated in accordance with the terms of the RFQ and ranked accordingly. The highest ranked design-build firms or teams for each Project will be invited to participate in the second step of the procurement for that Project. The work to be performed for each Project will include: 1) comprehensive modernization via design-build services, 2) hazardous materials abatement, 3) tenant communications, and 4) tenant relocation services. Minority- and Women- Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Section 3 Business Concerns All Comprehensive Modernization contracts will require compliance with Minority- and Women- owned Business (M/WBE) participation goals, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements including, without limitation, Section 3 (12 U.S.C. 1701u) compliance, NYCHA Resident Employment Program and New York City Mayors Office of Contract Services (MOCS) PASSPort registration.
