Renovation of a museum in Wilton, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The Existing EPDM roof will be removed and replaced with a standing metal seamed roof. Insulation to be added for meeting todays specifications at the historical site known as Grants Cottage All Gutters and Downspouts Shall be Removed and Stored Safely for Replacement. . The Existing Roof is an EPDM roof over 1.5" of sheeted foam. . The Roof is Shallow in Pitch and a Fall Protection Plan Shall be Required. . The Fall Protection Plan Shall be Submitted prior to the commencement of work. . Presently we have several dimensional boards in the overhang area of the existing roof in need of replacement due to Rot. . Dimensional Boards are 2"x10" Rough Cut Lumber and are open to the interior of the building. . Dimensional Boards in need of replacement Shall be done to the nearest Solid, Undamaged Board, and Land on a Truss. . The Entire Overhang on the Front and Rear of the Building are damaged by Rot and Shall be replaced Approximate Dimensions of 2'8" x 79'4" each. . The Existing Chimney Shall be Disassembled below the roof line and Dimensional underlayment placed for new roofing. Framing Shall be placed securely. Place +/- 2,995 square feet of ASP SL-175 standing seam metal roofing. Supply hidden metal clip fasteners to manufacturers' specifications. Brown in color.
