As of December 6, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 20, 2022. The intention of the following specifications is for the install and supply material for a turn-key irrigation system for CrossWinds Golf Course including sprinklers, quick couplers, piping, wiring, central computer controls, lightning protection, valves and fittings specified by attached golf irrigation plans and project manual. The Successful Respondent shall have successfully installed at least six golf irrigation systems of similar size or larger in the last twelve years and in the last two years successfully installed at a minimum one golf irrigation system of similar size and scope or larger. Contractor shall submit references for City of Bowling Green for Approval with the Bid and Final acceptance of Bid shall be with held until references with follow up are accepted. In compliance with Kentucky Revised Statutes, Chapter 45A, and the Kentucky Open Records Act, trade secrets or proprietary information submitted by a Respondent in connection with this procurement shall not be subject to public disclosure. However, the Respondent must invoke this protection prior to or upon submission of the data or other material, and must identify the specific area or scope of data or other material to be protected and state the reasons why protection is necessary. An all-inclusive statement that the entire bid is proprietary is unacceptable. A statement that costs are to be protected is also unacceptable. Disputes over disclosure will be resolved by the City Manager based on legal advice provided by the City of Bowling Green, Kentucky's Law Department.
