Furnish Water and Sewer Parts Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27-1 et seq. A Bid Guarantee in the form of a properly executed individual or annual Bid Bond issued by an insurance or security company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, cashier's check or certified check made payable unconditionally to the Township of Livingston in the amount of 10% of the bid submitted, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). The successful bidder shall simultaneously, with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The Township of Livingston will award a twelve (12) month contract. The Township of Livingston reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive identified minor irregularities and technicalities, and to award in whole or in part to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, if it is in the best interest of the Township to do so and in accordance with the law. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any bid which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular may be rejected, any bid having erasures or corrections in the price sheet may be rejected; any bid which unit prices are omitted, or in which unit/total prices are unbalanced, may be rejected; any bid accompanied by any insufficient or irregular certified check, cashier's check or bid bond may be rejected.
