Demolition and site work for a residential development in Ocala, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Formal Question Due By: 6/14/2022 @ 5:00 PM EST The City of Ocala is seeking quotes from contractors to demolish and remove a wood frame structure with metal roof, fence remove junk and cut and clean lot located at 707 NW 14th AVE, Ocala, FL 34475. Licensing Requirement: Contractors must submit proof that they possess a current, active Asbestos Supervisor license. The City of Ocala and NESHAP requires an asbestos-trained person be on site. Federal 40 CFR 61.145(c)(8) states in part, "no RACM shall be stripped, removed, or otherwise handled or disturbed at a facility regulated by this section unless at least one on-site representative, such as a foreman or management level person or other authorized person trained in the provisions of this regulation and the means of complying with them is present." DEP requires this "trained person" to be on site when non-friable ACM is present, or is discovered, so problems can be caught early and corrected without delay. NOTE: An Asbestos Survey report is not required for this demolition. This project consists of the following: 1. Termination of water and sewer connections at the property line (city meter/sewer laterals) prior to beginning demolition work. 2. Demolition and removal of a wood frame structure with metal roof, overgrowth, structural debris, structure contents, improvements, and any junk on the property listed above. 3. Underbrush, overgrowth, and all debris must be removed from the property. All trees, except for those that are dead, shall remain. 4. Property shall be graded to final grade, using a box blade. 5. The ground where the buildings are removed will be leveled, and if on a grade, sodded. 6. Any fuel tanks found must be pumped, disconnected, crushed, and backfilled or pumped and completely removed from the property according to Chapter 62-761 of the Florida Administrative Code. 7. Public sidewalks and driveway aprons must remain intact. Any damage to sidewalks or driveway aprons by the Contractor will be repaired at the Contractor's expense. 8. Any septic tanks will be pumped, crushed and back-filled, according to City requirements, Florida Building and Plumbing codes, and the Marion County Health Department. 9. Any water wells will be capped according to City requirements and Florida Building and Plumbing codes. 10. All items will be removed from the property and properly disposed of. NO items will be buried. Contract Time: Work must be completed and ready for final inspection within 60 days of the Cityissued Notice to Proceed (NTP).
