The Shepherd Independent School District ("SISD" or the "District") is seeking businesses that can provide equipment, supplies and/or services which can be utilized by our Career and Technical Education Department. All valid responses, received by the proposal deadline, will be accepted. This proposal does not ask for individual pricing on specific items. Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis. The estimated value of equipment, supplies and/or services purchased annually is between $100,000 and $350,000. Any questions concerning this proposal should be submitted via e-mail to the Chief Financial Officer no later than 5 days prior to the bid opening at purchasing@shepherdisd.net . This is to allow SISD sufficient time to respond to inquiries and provide information to all interested vendors by addenda. Contracts created by this Solicitation shall be in effect from the date of award through August 31, 2023 and will automatically be extended for two (2) years, unless either party provides notification not to renew ninety (90) days prior to renewal. During this time, a supplemental proposal may be solicited to add additional vendors to this category. At that time, you will not be required to submit a new bid unless your pricing will change. All interested vendors are encouraged to read thoroughly the RFP to ensure that all required documentation is included in their Proposal response. Failure to provide all required documentation may be grounds for rejection of the responses. THIS IS A NEGOTIATED PROCUREMENT, and as such, the Shepherd Independent School District reserves the right to negotiate any terms, conditions, or pricing with a Proposer prior to an award. Shepherd Independent School District reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, to award contracts for individual products or services as may appear advantageous, and to negotiate separately in any manner necessary to serve the best interest of the District.
